Jalen Milroe is in his fourth season at the University of Alabama as a quarterback.
He returns with experience as a starter after 13 games in 2023, posting 2,834 passing yards, 531 rushing yards, and 35 total touchdowns last year.
Milroe, a native Texan, led the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance as a first-year starter. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder earned the respect of his teammates and became a permanent team captain for his leadership.
He now has a full offensive coaching staff around him and believes that he can do anything in Kalen DeBoer’s system. Alabama has one Heisman Trophy winner at quarterback (Bryce Young), but can Milroe add a second one to the position?
He is back as one of the best signal-callers in college football, especially in the SEC.
Pro Football Focus, a website that dives into the analytics of college and professional football, sees Milroe having the entire skill set to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy. Dalton Wasserman of PFF shared his thoughts about Milroe on social media.

Milroe is extremely confident about what he can do in this Alabama offense.
He can air the ball out if he wants to or run it if he chooses to. The former four-star has improved his passing mechanics and expects to show everyone his skill set as a complete quarterback in the fall.
